Good to know - Information for Volunteers

The volunteer/Intern

As a volunteer you can work in administration, fundraising, help with homework or in our art, reading, music and dance clubs.

Volunteer/ Intern Qualifications

Maisha Yangu Organization is looking for committed volunteers/ interns who champion for children and youth empowerment.

To be eligible you must at least have one of the following:

Finished your higher learning or enrolled in a University/College pursuing a degree of choice.

Have transferable skills

Experience in various professions

Students

Our students come from Kawangware and are from families living in poverty. Children served are in grade 4 to 8 and all classes in secondary school.

Meeting Frequency

The volunteer renders services at Maisha Yangu centre at least 3 times a week.
