Good to know - Information for distance parents

For what you receive

By joining the distance parenting program, you become part of Maisha Yangu Organization's donor community network. You will receive progress reports of the grades and seasonal greetings from your supported student at the end of each school term. In addition, you will be able to communicate with your supported student through video calls, emails, letters and drawings on a regular basis, as well as physical meetups if possible. This communication is an essential part of the program, enabling you to hear from the students and create a relationship with them and their families. We put emphasis on partnering with the parents/ caregivers in providing for the students to foster a sense of responsibility and involvement in the children's lives.
